Glassgowhill's Top Contender " Tyson."
I’m not sure where to start or what to say, I’m lost for words. On November 14, 2012 we had to say goodbye to a very special boy, Glasgowhill’s Top Contender known as Tyson, Ty or Ty Ty. Tyson came to us on January 15, 2011 at 5 months of age. He was a sweet bundle of joy just like any normal collie puppy. A few days after we got him things change, Tyson got sick. He was scared of everyone and everything around him. With Dr.Evans help, we found out he had a reaction to his rabies vaccination. At this same time, I was sick and got diagnosed with leukemia. I’m not sure what I would have done if Tyson wasn’t there with me. He was my Angel. We spent many days together sick in bed. Tyson never left my side. We were there for each other. As time went on we both got better. Tyson became a happy puppy again, his smile came back on his face and he was a joy to be around. He brought the youth out in Journey, my oldest girl. I can still see them playing like two little puppies even though Journey was 10 years old. Ty loved the wood pile. Darren would work hard at putting wood in the basement and Ty would grab a piece in his mouth and run out the door with it. All we could do was stand and laugh at him. He loved to retrieve, if I was out in the yard he would be there dropping a ball or toy at my feet waiting for me to throw it nonstop. Ty was such a sweet boy and everyone that met him would say the same. I’ll never know why he had to be taken from us at such a young age to kidney failure, but one thing that I can say is I’ll never forget our short time together. Thanks, Ty Ty for bringing joy to my life while you were here. You will never be forgotten and someday we will meet again, I’m sure you will have a piece of wood or your ball in your mouth waiting for me to throw it. I love you Ty!
